Want to try QR Payminder before trusting it with real payments? There are two ways — and both are designed so nothing can go wrong.
Public demo: look around without registering
At qrpayminder.com/demo there is a public showcase of the app filled with practice payments — rent, utility advances, an instalment plan, an overdue payment. No registration or login needed; you simply see the app the way it looks in everyday use.
You can try marking payments as paid or snoozing them — the changes only live in your browser, though. Refresh the page and the demo is fresh again, so click away. Links leading outside the showcase (new payment, settings) will point you to registration.
Per-account demo mode: a full sandbox
Once signed in, you can fill your own account with sample data in Settings → Demo mode and try absolutely everything — edit payments, delete them, add your own, import a bank statement. You get the Premium tier while the demo runs, so the paid features are visible too.
When enabling it you enter your own bank account number and every demo payment will point at it. That is deliberate: if you ever paid one of the practice QR codes by accident, you would send the money to yourself. No practice payment can ever reach a stranger.
What happens to the data when you turn it off
Turning demo mode off returns the account to a clean state: all payments, recipients, own accounts and history are deleted — including anything you created yourself while in the demo. The sandbox is a playground; its outputs do not carry over. Your profile, sign-in methods and contact connections stay.
That is also why demo mode can only be enabled on an account with at most a few payments — on an established account, turning the demo off would cost you real data, and the app will not allow that.
